CEO Roundtable & Elevator Pitch Competition

Texas Black Expo is proud to continue its mission-driven activities to strengthen small businesses in the community. One of the ways that we achieve this aim is through our CEO Roundtable and Elevator Pitch competition, which provides mentoring, networking and financial resources to help entrepreneurs grow.

The two-part event begins with an Elevator Pitch Competition in which businesses pre-selected as finalists make their pitch to a panel of corporate and community business leaders for a chance to win a $5,000 grand prize.

Next, business owners participate in a CEO Roundtable in which they listen to top-tier CEOs discuss topics of practical relevance to small business owners. Following this, small group breakout sessions with the CEOs allow attendees to engage with the experts, asking questions about how to sustain and grow their business – and their profits! The event ends with networking among small business owners, with the opportunity to build vital new connections that help businesses thrive.

This popular annual event is scheduled for January 2022. The application portal for the Elevator Pitch Competition will open in November 2021.
