When unexpected financial challenges arise, the difference between an entrepreneur being able to remain in business, grow in business, or close forever can be as small as $1,000.

- A t-shirt company’s heat press machine may break, hindering their ability to fill orders.

- A catering company might be offered a huge order but lacks the funds to purchase the ingredients, so they have to pass on the opportunity.

The Texas Small Business Emergency Micro-grant Source was made for needs like these!

Emergency micro-grants of $1,000 are awarded to applicants to replace broken or damaged equipment, tools and/or machinery, or acquire inventory, or raw materials to help entrepreneurs continue and/or grow business operations.

Basic eligibility criteria apply. Micro-grants are based on fund availability. Applications for the current round of funding accepted September 1 through September 22, 2021.

Grant recipients will be notified via email by October 1, 2021 and will be recognized at a TSBEMS Corporate Reception to be held on November October 15,2021.
